Startup Selling – Understanding Why, not Just What to do
April 28 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Early stage companies MUST have founders that sell. This is the one area where it is not possible to outsource, partner, or hire your way to success. We will have an interactive conversation talking about concrete examples and understand why tactics are not working and what alternative strategies might. Workshop will take a holistic view of sales that encompases product, business models, positioning, classic marketing, contracts, and of course channel & direct sales— all in the context of getting the critical life force of sales working. Interactive conversation around problem areas and mysteries of startup sales challenges and sales best practices. De-mystify marketing and positioning in terms of practical actions to allow for critical selling.
Key content highlights of the workshop:
- Customer Decision Journey, non-sales activities/decisions that make the sales challenge bigger or smaller,
- High integrity selling as a tool to simplify everything,
- Motivations and psychology of various influencers and partners in the process of selling.
