This cookie policy explains how ABC Accelerator page uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our Websites and when you use our Subscription Service (the Subscription Service). It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.
WHAT ARE COOKIES
To optimize your browsing experience, a small data file, known as a cookie, is placed on your computer. Most big websites or internet service providers do this too. Cookies help the site remember your settings – language, font size and other preferences for how you want to view the site on your computer – so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to us.
WHY?
Some are necessary for technical reasons in order for the webpage to work. We also use cookies to understand and save your preferences for future visits and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.
WHAT DO WE SEE?
On the webpage, we cannot tie any information directly to you. We see the flow of users on the page, we see what browser and IOS they’re using, what platform they came from and the location (city). We cannot identify users based on this. If you register for the newsletter, we see your email address, we see if you’ve opened the link and which links in the email you’ve clicked on. All of this helps us improve our services.
CONTROL
You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish – for details, see aboutcookies.org or visit your browser’s help menu for more information. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services and functionalities may not work. If you choose to reject cookies, you may still use our website though your access to some functionality and areas of our website may be restricted.
What types of cookies do we use and how do we use them?
Cookies may be either “persistent” cookies or “session” cookies. A persistent cookie consists of a text file sent by a web server to a web browser, which will be stored by the browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date (unless deleted by the user before the expiry date). A session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed. The purpose of use of the various cookies is outlined below in this policy.
