There are 940 million visually impaired people. People whose vision is at a point where glasses and similar conventional tools are not enough to help their sight. While 95% of these people still have some minimal sight, they mostly rely on outside help and are stuck in places they know.

Holoroad has developed a way to help those with some sight to be able to recognize the shapes and objects around them using a standard phone and proprietary algorithm. In essence, patients develop a new sense that helps them be independent.
