Red Sky developed an AI system that helps the blind and visually impaired to navigate through life. It helps them moving through indoor environments, detects distance to objects, location and guides them around obstacles. Their unique software works with a pair of glasses upgraded with a camera and sensors and is designed to vastly improve the lives of blind people.
Red Sky just got 200.000$ of investment from venture capital fund HealthXCapital from Singapore via the Found8 program and Google. They are also cooperating with the Slovenian center for the blind – IRIS, RNIB – Royal National Institute of Blind People from UK and SAVH – Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped.
